Dermaplaning: A chemical-free exfoliation which consists of a professional (esthetician/doctor) using a surgical blade to gently scrape off the top layer of dead surface cells and that little layer of peach-fuzz facial hair.
This procedure results in brighter skin, allowing for greater penetration of skincare products and a smooth canvas for makeup application.
It was a Rebekah Star X Angella Irving Collaboration
Rebekah Star, my beauty goddess for the afternoon is a Licensed Esthetician and Eyebrow Extraordinaire! Located steps away from Grand Central Station on Madison Ave, her suite is an intimate-glam-slice-of- heaven, and I knew, right then, I was in the right hands. I quickly changed into the robe and headband she provided with the words of my favorite housewife Nene Leakes in my head “I’m Very Rich”, It was a moment!
We decided to incorporate Angella Irving products apart of the procedure:
Steam & Double Cleanse
Rebekah ensured my skin was cleansed and prepped for the procedure by utilizing our Pristine Cleansing Oil along with a water based cleanser. Her hands are magical, and she massaged my face while cleansing focusing on my lower jaw line, it felt AHH-MAZ-ING!
Dermaplaning Procedure
After utilizing a serum to prep the skin for the procedure, Rebekah applied our Control Face Oil and began lightly scraping my skin, it was painless and soo relaxing.
Mask, Scrub & Moisturizer
Once completed, Rebekah performed some extractions followed by a face mask. Allowing the mask to set, she proceeded to exfoliate my décolletage with Our Café Noir Scrub and moisturized with our Deep Satin Body Oil leaving my skin soft and supple.
After wiping off the face mask she followed up with our Control Face Oil to calm and seal in all the goodness of the procedure!
Eyebrows
Did I mention Rebekah is the Eyebrow Extraordinaire! Ladies & Gents! You know that your eyebrows can make or break your face, and she just elevated my face with her skill! My Eyebrows never looked soo good!
